Social Purpose:
Helping people who experience mental ill health, such as anxiety, stress, depression, to take control of their mental wellbeing. Feely is a tool that can be used stand-alone or as a complement to psychologists. The tool builds on evidence based science and psychology. People feel bad for different reasons, some can’t handle the combination of work-related stress and demanding private life, some beacime anxious by the though of self-realization, some have congenital problems with anxiety or fobies. But no matter what has caused the mental ill-health modern science within psychology show that everyone can affect her own mental health positively by using relatively simple methods and exercises.
Social Impact:
They increase the level of happiness, the level of satisfaction with life, decrease stress, and give the user a feeling of control over her mental health. This far they have carried out two large studies with over 100 participants, that have shown good results on the above impact measures. The goal for the future is to make impact goals measurable through the app itself, and thereby creating impact KPI’s that are measurable on daily basis.
Innovative Character:
There is a number of organizations that work to tackle the problems with mental ill-health in Sweden, e.g. Tilia, UDDA etc. They are all doing great work and they are giving people a forum where they can meet people and receive help/support. However, they are not digital to a large extent, and therefore have limited possibility to spread knowledge in very large scale. That’s where Feely really wants to help, i.e. to create a service that can spread knowledge and help people take control of their mental health in a large scale. Creating a new and appealing digital tool.
